Details: Chamomile Roman essential oil is also known as English Chamomile, Sweet Chamomile and Garden Chamomile. Botanically, Roman Chamomile is known as Anthemis nobilis and belongs to Asteraceae family. Earlier, it was placed in Compositae family. Roman Chamomile is a small perennial herb which has hairy stems, daisy like flowers and feathery pinnate. Roman essential Chamomile oil is extracted from flowers through steam distillation. The oil has sweet, apple like fragrance and its consistency is water like. It gives light blue appearance which is clear and lucid. Camphor, myrcene, caryophellene, a- pinene, b- pinene, propyl angelate and butyl angelate are its main chemical compositions.
