Pain Relief Oil Blend

This blend is a great option for using a roller ball bottle if you have one. If not, you can still mix the blend in a dark colored bottle and use it topically.

Ingredients:

  • 5 drops of eucalyptus oil
  • 10 drops of lavender oil
  • 5 drops of birch oil
  • 5 drops of rosemary oil
  • 3 drops of peppermint oil
  • 10 ml of the carrier oil of your choosing (avocado, sweet almond, jojoba, argan, coconut, macadamia)

Mixing Directions:

  1. Add all the oils to a 10-ml glass bottle (roller top if you have it)
  2. Top it off with the carrier oil of your choice.
  3. Place the lid or cap on the bottle and gently roll it between your hands to blend it.
  4. Apply the oil blend to joints that are painful, swollen or stiff.

Pain Lotion with Frankincense Oil

Ingredients:

  • 20 drops of frankincense oil
  • 20 drops of myrrh oil
  • ¼ cup of shea butter
  • ¼ cup of beeswax

  • 2 tablespoons of Vitamin E oil

Directions:

  1. Melt the shea butter, beeswax, olive oil and coconut oil in a double boiler stirring occasionally.

  3. Use an electric mixer to beat the mixture until it’s fluffy.

Homemade Balm

Ingredients:

  • 5 drops of clove oil
  • 7 drops of eucalyptus oil
  • 5 drops of cinnamon oil
  • 9 drops of peppermint oil
  • 10 drops of camphor oil
  • ¼ cup of coconut, almond or olive oil
  • 1 ounce of beeswax

Directions:

  1. Use a double broiler to melt the beeswax and oil of your choice on low. Stir the mixture as the wax melts.
  2. Place the melted mixture in a metal tub or small glass jar that has a large mouth.
  3. Add the EOs and stir gently until it is mixed thoroughly.
  4. Place the lid on the container and allow the balm to cool completely.
  5. Wait for a minimum of two hours before using the balm.
  6. Apply as often as needed to sore muscles and joints.

Massage Blend for Arthritis Relief

Ingredients:

  • 3 drops of chamomile oil
  • 4 drops of eucalyptus oil
  • 5 drops of peppermint oil
  • 30 ml of sweet almond oil

Directions:

  1. Put the essential oils into a glass bottle and add the sweet almond oil to them.
  2. Place the lid on the bottle and roll it between your palms to blend it thoroughly.
  3. Apply as needed to areas causing you pain or stiffness. Do not get it near the eyes, nose or genital area!)

Pain Alleviating Bath Salts

Ingredients

  • 3 drops of eucalyptus oil
  • 3 drops of rosemary oil
  • 2 drops of peppermint oil
  • 1 cup of Epsom salts
  • ¼ cup of sea salt
  • ¼ cup of baking soda

Directions:

  1. Using a small bowl, mix all the ingredients together.
  2. Slowly pour the salts into the bath while the tub is filling with water.
  3. Soak for at least 20 minutes so you’ll benefit from the oils.
  4. This recipe is for one bath, it can be multiplied for more than one. Store it in an airtight jar.
