Tea Tree Essential Oil Wart Treatment
Tea tree oil has a reputation for having antibacterial and antioxidant properties. Its antiviral properties make it a good choice for combatting warts. Tea tree needs to be diluted with a carrier oil such as jojoba oil, almond oil or coconut oil before using topically.
Oregano Essential Oil Wart Treatment
Oregano EO is well known for its antiviral and antimicrobial properties which can be beneficial for treating viruses and fungi that chase skin conditions. The main ingredient in oregano oil is carvacrol which is believed to be what makes this a fast-acting antiviral treatment. It’s often used with frankincense essential oil for treating warts. To use oregano oil to treat a wart, mix 25 drops with 2 teaspoons of coconut oil, or another carrier oil and apply it to the wart four times each day.
Lemon Essential Oil Wart Treatment
Lemon EO is used to treat many different skin conditions and is also effective for treating warts due to its antiviral properties. Lemon oil can also be used to eliminate viral infections such as the Herpes Simplex type 1 virus, or the common cold sore. It is also used to treat skin conditions like chicken pox, shingles and warts. Lemon essential oil is an astringent, antibacterial, and antiseptic. Thyme Essential Oil Wart Treatment
Thyme EO has antimicrobial properties as well as the ability to attack fungus, viruses, and bacteria. Warts are usually caused by the Human Papilloma Virus. It is contagious and can be difficult to treat using pharmaceuticals as it is often drug-resistant. Thyme essential oil may be gentler than using medications obtained at a drug store.
Ways to Use Essential Oils for Treating Warts
It is common knowledge that essential oils can be an effective wart treatment. While some of the essential oils are potent for treating warts, you may also want to combine them to form your own blends. There are many ways to use EOs. Here are three suggestions.
